View on Booking.comWhile the location and space are excellent, this property sits on busy Ponce de Leon with consistent complaints about traffic noise, drag racing, and thin walls in the historic building. Multiple guests recommend earplugs for sleep.
🚩 Red Flags
“The only downside for us was the noise. There was quite a bit of street noise, and we could also hear neighbors from the other apartments in the house. I ended up needing to wear earplugs at night to sleep.”
“Only negative I would say is the particular weekend we stayed there, there was drag racing in the middle of the night Friday and Saturday on Ponce de Leon avenue. Our apartment was facing the street so it was disruptive.”
“Our only issue was outside noise overnight. Not the owners fault, but definitely bring earplugs to sleep with due to significant street noise.”
“The walls are thin and it's nearly impossible to move about quietly in the unit/building due to the antique flooring etc, plus the street noise outside got to be a bit much at times.”
“We could hear every step that the upstairs neighbors took. However, we didn't stay long and spent most of our time outside of the condo.”
“Given the age of the home (which in my opinion is the charm) we could hear the people above us due to the hardwood floors.”
“I do have to mention as a warning that my car did get broken into in the lot so park at your own risk. I had no valuables in there or bags visible and my car is old so not sure why it was targeted.”
“Free parking but the parking lot is very tight, for sure meant for only compact cars.”
“Parking is available but not for large vehicles, plenty of curb side street parking for larger vehicles.”
“Parking is a bit tight but was very doable just need to be considerate and ensure the cars next to you room to park and leave.”
