The hotel's broken climate control system turns rooms into saunas with no escape. Guests are forced to sleep with doors open to hallways or suffer through sweltering nights, making this place uninhabitable despite its prime location.

Air conditioning is centrally controlled. Rooms heat up with sunlight and with no window to open or fan it became incredibly hot on the fifth floor. Very difficult to sleep and uncomfortable.

The room was ridiculously overheated and hot. It had 20+ degrees outside yet the AC was heating, in both rooms we had booked, both without a possibility to change that. The window was not opening at all in one room.

We found that the hotel was very very warm in our room, we could not turn down the air conditioning. The air conditioning was set to 16°C, but only heat. It pumped out heat the entire time.

Extremely small room. In Japan we're used to small rooms, but this was extreme. Couldn't even open suitcases, no storage spaces, small bathroom. Depressing room.

The room wasn't the most comfortable and very cramped for 2 people. This one was smaller compared to other hotels in Japan that I have stayed in.

Only to be told that they could only check us in 1 room as the second room was only available at 9 PM

Our checkin time was 3 PM and we returned at 6:30 PM. Only to be told that they could only check us in 1 room as the second room was only available at 9 PM. When I asked for a discount/compensation/upgrade they blatantly refused.

I had to sleep on one half of the bed because the other half had a huge dip. They definitely need to replace the mattresses.

The mattresses were old, horrible to sleep on, hard and sagged in the middle due to extensive use. My wife had a sore neck and shoulders because of how uncomfortable the bed was.
