While the hotel itself is excellent with modern rooms and great amenities, it's located in Bangkok's Nana red light district. Many guests report having to walk through areas with sex workers and bars to reach the property, which may be uncomfortable for families or solo female travelers.

βTiny ants everywhere β crawling and winged, on the chairs and in the bed. We couldn't sleep because they kept biting us. There is no reception, so it's impossible to get help immediately. We had to urgently find another hotel nearby and move in the middle of the night.β
βThere were small ants in our room which came up to the bed and we took them home in our suitcase as well.β
βThe only drawback was ants in the room, but as I understand, the owner periodically conducts pest control, so I hope this was just a temporary issue.β
βThe area is in a red light district. As three female travelers we choose to travel with uber during the evenings. Because of this I wouldnt recommend to familes or female travellers.β
βThe surrounding streets have a heavy nightlife/red-light atmosphere. While the hotel itself is quiet and well-run, walking to and from it may feel uncomfortable for many travelers β particularly solo female guests or families with children.β
βThe way to the BTS station from Nana station to the accommodation is Bangkok's representative red-light district. Every evening, there are solicitations for prostitution on the way to the accommodation.β
βThe only minor downside was the soundproofing. While I was lucky to have very quiet neighbors, I could clearly hear people talking in the hallway and the next room.β
βSoundproofing is not very good β you can hear everything that happens in the corridor (although, probably, that's why there are earplugs in the room).β
βIf people in next rooms are noisy you could hear them loud and no elevator there is stairs up to the rooms.β
βThere is no lift! This information was missing from listing and was only metioned by the staff shortly before checking inβ¦.very sneaky!!!β
βThe staircase is very narrow and steep (there is no lift), not very convenient for going up and down with suitcases.β
βWe booked a suite and I was told by the hotel it would be on the ground floor, having just had a hip replacement that's what I wanted but on arrival it was on the 4th floor and there are no lifts.β
βOften there was a sewage smell in the bathroom. There were no other minuses.β
βThe drain smelled bad.β
βRoom with internal courtyard is an exit to a well where everything is noisy and smells.β
βApproximately a 15β20 minute walk to Nana BTS depending on route and pace.β
βAlthough it appears to be central it's quite far from all the action. It's about a 5 minute walk to the nearest Main Street than another 10 minute walk to Sukhumvit.β
β1 km walk from BTS Nana. Noise insulation. My neighbors were relatively quiet.β
