The toilet did not work for our stay and they cannot fix it. They recommend we use a public toilet!!

This is a terrible scam of a hotel. The toilet did not work for our stay and they cannot fix it. They recommend we use a public toilet!! At 200 eur per night! They told us that the toilets did not work for the entire hotel.

The attitude of the person at the hotel reception when we called to report the toilet flush problem (general to the hotel, but that's no reason to be unpleasant).

Unfortunately there was a smell of stagnation/sewer from the drains coming from the room

The most serious thing is that yellow water comes out of the bathroom drain (fortunately only in the toilet). The smell of new carpet in the common areas is very strong and often disturbing

Poor soundproofing - there was some kind of club event across from us all night

The soundproofing is poor — there was some kind of club event across from us all night, and the subwoofer was thumping nonstop.

The light switches barely work, and even the staff couldn't figure out how to connect the iron

The hotel is new, but the designer clearly overdid it — as a result, the light switches barely work, and even the staff couldn't figure out how to connect the iron.

11 months ago·Cyprus·Score: 2/10

The lighting control system was unnecessarily complicated, and the power outlet for phone, smartwatch, etc. was inconveniently placed under the nightstand.

Our balcony directly opposite the tracks

Location, highway-close ok and unfortunately directly at the train station. Our balcony directly opposite the tracks.

The room had a balcony but it was overlooking railway tracks and a construction site that felt abandoned for 30 years.
