Room was WAY too small for one person, much less two

The room was WAY too small for one person, much less two. It was literally a micro room with absolutely no place for an open suitcase.

We booked a double room but we got a very very small room where we can hardly walk in the room and unable to even open our luggages.

Walls were a bit thin

Noise from other rooms very loud (kept hearing other people opening their doors and thought they were opening ours which kept us up).

No matter how good the room is, if it is noisy then you can't get any sleep which is the main point of staying in a hotel.

Fire alarm went off from 3:30 am until 5:00 am

The worst situation was a malfunctioning fire alarm that went off from 3:30 am until 5:00 am. Every few minutes. No fire, just a malfunction and it caused people to stand out in the streets for long periods.

Air con stuck on 22 degrees

Our air con was stuck on 22 degrees. I asked reception who sent maintenance but it didn't make any difference. It was too hot to sleep well.

Restaurant above rearranging furniture at 3am

Room 608 in the basement is underneath a restaurant and between 2am and 5am the restaurant cleaners dragged every table around causing no sleep at all.

Our room backed onto the bar cellar next door that has barrels delivered from 3-5am! This is incredibly loud and staff were super unhelpful at 4am.
